Please find our monthly update for March. We have a question for analysts, then our news, then some information and links to business and other helpful resources around this COVID 19 crisis.

While we adjust to the sombre and challenging situation of our lives during a global pandemic, cyber security goes on. There are two strands to how this crisis will affect us professionally. One is that management and decision makers will be focusing on strategy and business resilience and the other is that cyber analysts will mostly be working from home now and for some time.

It is clear and unsurprising that CTI is now overwhelmingly Coronavirus led as this report from Proofpoint outlines. But is this thematic shift increasing your (analysts’) workloads? i.e. is it quantitatively different or just a content change?

If you are an analyst please choose one of the following:

I’m an analyst and the volume of CTI I am dealing with has increased
I’m an analyst and my CTI related workload is less or about the same as usual

Our News

As a remote-first team practical disruption for us has so far been minimal. Development and sales are obviously continuing apace so please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Improved AI for CTI Engine Launched!

We have improved the functionality of our Free Trial engine which allows you to upload your own CTI PDFs and URLs. Elemendar translates these from human authored, unstructured text into machine readable and actionable data using STIX2 and MITRE ATT&CK™ to be fed directly into TIPs and SIEM / SOAR systems.

By making our improved AI engine’s functionality available to all analysts for free we hope to hugely improve analyst efficiency and enable them to quickly counter many more threats. Please see the release details and use it here.

Elemendar Shortlisted for SC Magazine 2020 Europe Awards!

We are proud to have been  shortlisted as a finalist to this year’s SC Magazine 2020 Europe Awards in the category of Best Emerging Technology. Winners will be announced in June. Let’s hope we do well ?

Elemendar Accepted into The Telecom Council’s Innovation Showcase Class of 2020!

We have also been accepted into the Telecom Council’s Innovation Showcase for this year. Based in Silicon Valley, the Telecom Council Forums connect global communication service providers and vendors with innovations that are pushing the industry forward. We expect this to lead to new prospects in the US with both telecoms carriers and VCs.
