V0.0.7 is released and now incorporates MITRE ATT&CK™
“My name is Bond, James Bond” is the famous quote and as there is a new Bond movie out soon it seems appropriate to make Bond quips. Personally I think that our AI for CTI engine is more Q’s cup of tea and that he would have been impressed. Now, thanks to sterling work by our development team, CTI documents are translated into STIX 2.0 and incorporate MITRE ATT&CK™.

Use our AI for CTI Engine for Free!
Who doesn’t love free? We have upgraded what was our demo feature into a Free Trial. This means that as well as running CTI URLs through it you can now also upload CTI PDFs and we will translate them into STIX 2.0 and MITRE ATT&CK™ for you. Click here and let Elemendar take the strain.
Marketing Spin Up
Now we’ve released v0.0.7 and upgraded our demo feature to a free trial, we are about to target cyber analysts through LinkedIn and other means to widen our contact base and collect new users directly. This will enable us to create more sales opportunities and reach a new ‘direct to analyst’ audience. Look out for our higher profile on Linkedin.
Elemendar Hits Athens
January in England. The sunny blue skies, the flowers blooming, the trees groaning under the weight of ripe oranges and lemons, people eating at pavement cafes, the bird song. Oh hang on, that’s Athens in January! Well I did mention ancient history.
We thought it would be lovely to visit Athens to escape the gloom, enjoy some extra daylight hours to walk around the Acropolis and plan our year ahead. We went, we saw, we planned and we ate wonderful food. See the pictures, yes they are mostly cat pictures. Spot the cat who didn’t get the memo. :).
In Feb – This Month!
Giorgos Visiting RSA in San Fran
Giorgos is off to RSA Cyber Security Conference in San Francisco. He should be in NYC & DC around the 19th to the 21st and then San Fran 24th to the 28th. Please get in touch with us if you’d like to meet up
Writing this made me wonder what the RSA in RSA Cyber Conference stands for? Also why had I never wondered this before? Well if you like to win pub quizzes now you can know this factoid too. “The name RSA refers to the public-key encryption technology developed by RSA Data Security, Inc., which was founded in 1982. The abbreviation stands for Rivest, Shamir, and Adleman, the inventors of the technique.” Wikipedia. Whoa dude, more ancient history!
Tristan Goes Dutch
I’m in the Hague at the NL Cyber & FinTech Summit on the 20th. If you are going and would like to meet please do contact me and perhaps we can share some chips and fritessaus?
Interesting Cyber Snippets
– Some things never change. This Bleichenbacher attack now in the form of ROBOT is still causing trouble 20 years since it first crawled into our systems. It’s like Arnie in Terminator.

– This article discusses CTI and the skills shortage issues
“In Greek mythology, Sisyphus, the King of Corinth, was punished by Hades by being forced to roll a huge stone up a hill, only to have it roll down again as soon as he reached the summit, and then have the process repeat ad infinitum. The Paradox of Sisyphus exemplifies the modern state of cybersecurity.”
If only someone was developing technologies to solve this cyber labour crunch? *Raises eyebrow*
